Welcome to the thrilling world of Snake Snack, where Silvers the Snake is relying on your expertise to satisfy his hunger. Are you up to the challenge?
I am sure you already know this, but lets just go over it one more time for the people in the back! To be sure everyone grasp the fundamental rules that will guide you through the game.
To navigate Silvers through the digital wilderness of the game, you'll be using arrow keys, buttons, or touch screen swipes. Exercise caution, as collisions with the border or Silvers' own body spell the end of the game. The longer you keep Silvers growing, the more points you accrue. Challenge yourself and see how extensive you can make Silvers while racking up those points!
Life is full of interruptions, but fear not! You hold the power to pause the game at
your fingertips. Whether you're on a touch screen (double-click), using a mouse (click
the pause button) or you want to click the p on the keyboard, you're in control of when
the game starts and stops. Need to dash or take a breather? Pause, and resume
when ready.
Levels
Earning your keep in Snake Snack requires points. Accumulate enough, and you'll
find yourself ascending to the next level. But beware, as each level comes with
an added challenge – Silvers accelerates. If he appears to slow down, tread
carefully; he might be in need of a short break before ramping up to your
fastest speed again.
Food
Apples are your lifeline in this snake-filled adventure. Devouring
each apple not only gratifies Silvers' appetite but also extends his length
and boosts your points by 10. Don't dilly-dally, though – these apples won't
wait for you forever. Stay agile and snatch them up before they disappear.
Even in Silvers' world, temptation lurks around the corner. Silvers has a
sweet tooth and chocolate bars are his weekness, but you must resist letting
him indulge. If he succumbs, you'll lose 5 hard-earned points. Keep a keen eye
out for these tantalizing treats, and swiftly guide Silvers away from the
potential point deduction. Your score depends on it!
About Us
Snake Snack is based on the snake game most people know. Some grew up with it, as one of
their first games on there mobile, others learned to love it over time. It is a game that
at first dosn't take to much thought and skill, but as the snake grows it gets harder to
beat your own high score! Can you beat your own score?
It is a game that easily takes up a few hours if you are not carefull. However, most of us
can't seem to stay away for to long. This is where Snake Snack comes in. A project that
will grow over time. With graphic design created specially for this website, and more food
designs in development.

Snake Snack was created as a project for my second portfolio project for Code Institute Full
Stack Development Diploma.
I wanted to create a game that that I already loved, and then could make my own in some
ways.
And who could really go wrong with a beloved game like snake?
To me snake is classic game that never dies.
It is one of the games I remember the best from playing on my phone when I was younger, and
that might be because even though it has been here since the 1970's it still is seen quite
often in new games or and older version suddenly appearing. It is defiantly not a game that
you forget suddenly.
I choose a game I will be able to add on to because I love the idea behind the project. It
isn't just soemthing I have to make but something I am truly exited about creating.
